Lee Van Haeften
Owner & Lead Physiotherapist

Lee is the owner and founder of the clinic, established in 2019 with a clear philosophy: to deliver evidence-based physiotherapy that empowers patients to self-manage in the long term, regardless of age, ability, or condition.

With over 12 years of clinical experience, Lee has worked across the full spectrum of physiotherapy settings, including hospital-based care, private practice, and elite sport. This breadth of experience allows him to combine high-level clinical reasoning with practical, real-world application.

Lee holds an undergraduate degree in Sports Science and Health, a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, and is currently completing a PhD in Running Performance. Alongside his clinical work, he is an academic lecturer in Physiotherapy and Sports & Exercise Medicine, ensuring his practice remains aligned with current research and evolving best practice.

Lee is passionate about all aspects of physiotherapy, with a particular focus on accurate diagnosis, evidence-led management, and long-term rehabilitation strategies that support independence and confidence beyond the clinic. The ultimate aim of the clinic is not just recovery, but equipping patients with the knowledge and tools to manage their condition effectively over time.

Patrick Patten
Senior Physiotherapist

Patrick joined the clinic two years ago and has been a long-standing professional colleague of Lee. He brings a strong background in strength and conditioning, having worked with a wide range of populations and built a credible reputation in this area following his undergraduate degree in Health and Exercise Science / Health and Exercise Fitness.

Building on this foundation, Patrick went on to complete a degree in Physiotherapy in the UK and has since gained clinical experience across rehabilitation and performance-focused settings. He has also worked within elite sport in Ireland, integrating physiotherapy with strength and conditioning principles to support both injury recovery and performance development.

Patrick is a strong advocate of evidence-based physiotherapy and prides himself on delivering rehabilitation that is grounded in current research while remaining practical and individualised. He has a particular interest in patient self-management, supporting individuals to develop the knowledge and confidence needed to manage their condition beyond the clinic.

Alongside his clinical role, Patrick works part-time as an academic lecturer, ensuring his practice remains informed by contemporary research and educational standards.
